Visas are frequently required for international travel. If a participant needs to have a visa to get in Russia – it won`t be a problem. With the help of AFCI’s 43rd Cineposium official technical operator MAKO you will be receive a visa voucher.

Aim tourism / humanitarian visa vouchers
For AFCI Cineposium attendance, you will need a Tourist Visa. Recommended time for ease of visa turnaround is 4-5 days (max.14days) HOWEVER as with most countries, expedited visas are available for an additional cost. These expedited visas can be obtained in as little as 3 days.
MAKO Congress will happily provide the visa voucher, a document that ensures your visa will be processed, to all AFCI Cineposium delegates who have completed their Cineposium registration. The voucher is solely for the purpose of the visa application. Once your visa voucher is prepared, a member of the MAKO team will provide instructions that will assist you with submitting the required material for your visa. Once you receive your voucher, it becomes your responsibility to submit your visa application in a timely fashion. The address of your preferred hotel should be included in the visa voucher request.
Invitation letters are for visa purposes only, and do not imply any financial commitment from the organizers. All event expenses, including airfare, transportation, lodging, meals, insurance and Cineposium admission, will be the responsibility of the attendee.
A scanned copy of the invitation will be free of charge if the hotel reservation is made via our online registration system. If you make independent hotel accommodations, an additional cost 10 €-will be charged for the invitation.
Go to the “Visa” page of your Personal area and fill in the data required. If additional staff members are accompanying you to Cineposium 2019, they will also need to complete the visa support documents.

Book and pay hotel accommodation individually and send us the hotel booking confirmation
Scaned-copy of invitation will be free of charge – if hotel reservation is made via our online registration system, and it will be cost 10 €- if participants book accommodation by themselves
Go to the “Visa” page of your Personal area and fill in the data required
If your accompanying person also needs visa support documents, he/she should also be registered online
Visa – Letter of Invitation
You can order an Invitation Letter here after your registration fee and fee for visa support are paid. MAKO Congress Management has been appointed as the official visa agent for the AFCI’s 43rd Cineposium.
Please note MAKO is able to provide you an Invitation Letter only. This is not a visa!
The Invitation Letter is a necessary doсument required to obtain a visa to the Russian Federation. You can not enter the Russian Federation solely on the basis of the Invitation Letter. Processing of the letter takes 1-3 business days.
When you get the invitation letter, please read the information carefully.
In case if hard copy is required (some countries) additionally participant has to pay for express delivery service (such as DHL, Fedex, UPS, etc.).

The following documents should be submitted to the Russian Embassy or Consulate to obtain a Tourist Visa to enter Russia:
1. Your original passport with at least 2 blank visa-designated pages (passport must be valid for at least 6 months after intended departure date from Russia or the middle of March, 2020
2. Two copies of the Russian visa application form, completed and signed.
3. Two passport-size photos signed on the back
4. If you book your hotel directly, please supply confirmation of hotel arrangements from authorized Russian travel company, or directly from the Russian hotel, clearly displaying the reference number and confirmation number for the visa.

To entry the Russian Federation, visa is not required for:
1. Citizens of visa-free countries entering Russia for a specific period (from 30 to 90 days) and for specific purpose (tourism, business, etc.) and with some restrictions.
2. Citizens of all countries for some types of visa-free trips.
Citizens of visa-free countries do not require visa to enter the Russian Federation, but in most cases duration of their stay in Russia is limited. Visa is required to enter Russia for a longer period.
