The Association of Film Commissioners International (AFCI) will hold it's 43rd Annual Cineposium in St. Petersburg from September 13th to 16th, 2019. The event will be held at the same time as the General Assembly of the UN World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), which will bring together professionals from over 100 countries.
This year, Cineposium will become an unique platform, uniting the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), representatives from the world film industry and representatives from the international and federal media. Critical topics to be presented at Cineposium include the rise of content and its impact on a territory’s capacity, global film tourism and screen industry development. In addition to showcasing St. Petersburg as a destination for film, television and other forms of production, Cineposium will help to establish co-production links between domestic and foreign filmmakers.
